Aquarius Dining and Café has great quality food that is fresh, tasty and well priced, all complimented by a variety of hot, cold and alcoholic beverages.
Our highly experienced baristas and bar staff can be relied upon to make excellent coffees, teas, juices, smoothies, shakes and frappes at any time of the day. All of our coffees are brewed using Organic coffee beans from the Byron Bay coffee company.
With cold beers on tap and even more to choose from in the fridge, a selection of wines to compliment all dishes and a variety of delicious cocktails, Aquarius Dining and Cafe really can quench any thirst.
A cult favourite with locals and especially Canadians is "The Ceaser" A twist on the Bloody Mary, made with a delicious blend of Vodka, herbs, spices and our specially imported Clamato Juice. Morning, noon or night, you won’t go wrong.
Behind the scenes is Head Chef Patrick Hobbs, who has owned and worked in restaurants of the Northern Rivers area for over 20 years. Patrick’s menu is simple, fresh and tasty, with all dishes utilising his extensive experience, personally chosen ingredients and freshly prepared condiments. There is something on the menu for all tastes, with kids, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as well.
The Breakfast menu includes savoury highlights such as Pea, zucchini and haloumi fritters with free range poached eggs served on a bed of rocket or for those of you seeking a sweeter start to the day, stacks of fluffy pancakes served with a mound of fresh mixed berries, sauced with berry coolie, maple syrup and a side of cream. Those with a real hunger can tackle the bigger breakfast combinations or burgers, leaving the fresh bagels, fruit salads and wraps for those who just want to get the day started quietly.
Lunch presents a selection of share plates, eye-popping burgers with crunchy chips, filling salads or the more substantial mains… Juicy rumps, herbed chicken or a seafood feast perhaps? A variety of sandwiches and side dishes are on offer all day for those on the run too.
As your day comes to an end, enjoy a candlelit Dinner with a Modern Australian take on some favourite dishes, all complimented by a locals, live music showcase (Thurs, Fri, Sat). Fresh seafood linguini, Duck confit or perhaps a bowl of steamed Mussels in mouth watering broth? Feel free to ask about the fish of the day or the Chefs specials - Patrick’s personal picks based on the produce available and the season.
